What is LN2 Cryo, and why do it?
Every cable we craft and component we use undergoes true liquid-nitrogen cryogenic immersion as a standard part of production—not an optional upgrade or shortcut. Unlike vapor-based or “dry cryo” methods used elsewhere, our process slowly brings each conductor down to extreme temperatures before fully immersing it in medical-grade liquid nitrogen at approximately -320°F. This deep, controlled treatment relieves internal stresses, refines the metal structure, and creates conductors that remain more stable and consistent at room temperature.
The result is a product designed for greater musical transparency, with a lower noise floor, reduced distortion, improved conductivity, and more accurate retrieval of subtle detail. True liquid-nitrogen immersion is expensive, time-intensive, and requires specialized equipment and experience, but we believe the benefits are undeniable. We have used this process for decades because precision matters—and music deserves nothing less.
Why do you braid your cables?
Hand-braiding ensures precise conductor alignment and phase consistency, helping reduce electromagnetic interference, lower resistance, and maintain a more coherent signal path. Our flat-braided design also provides greater flexibility and easier routing, allowing for cleaner cable management while maintaining the integrity of the construction. By carefully controlling the geometry of each conductor, a braided design helps minimize unwanted noise and preserve the timing and clarity of the music. You’re not just buying a fully handmade product—you’re experiencing the difference that care, experience, and intention bring to every detail of the design.
Is there a lead time for your products?
Yes, generally. We make each item to order. Typically requiring a week to month to complete depending on the product. Orders will be shipped 1-2 days after completion.
Where are your products manufactured?
Our products are made entirely by hand in our Portland Oregon based lab.
